Pray Without Ceasing

Been thinking lately?

Yeah, me too.
The change of weather seems to have that effect on me.
We've had plenty of that around here.

I'm learning that there are times God wants us to speak.
Times He wants us to stand.
And there are times to be quiet and still.

In the meantime, school days pass by.
'Little' people grow.  In more ways than one.
Our days come in hitches.
The man I love provides more than we could ever need.
Still, I forget that we are blessed beyond belief.

There are families starving right now.
We are a minority with the majority.
And as a nation, we don't even know it.

We continue to learn from each other.
The more I learn, the less I realize I've known.
The more I know I need my Savior.
To focus on pointing their hearts to HIM while not being distracted by the world.

Once lost, now found.
At times thinking I knew every answer.
Not ashamed to tell you I cling to scripture and promises today.
Promises of things I can't always see.
Reminders that God knows what I do not.
Knowing that we never really know the battles others face.

God gave me a word today.
Twice.  In a row.

PRAY WITHOUT CEASING.
PRAY WITHOUT CEASING.
(1Thes. 5:17)

No conditions.
No questions asked.
PRAY WITHOUT CEASING.
PRAY WITHOUT CEASING.

That means to pick up my shield of faith, the sword of the spirit, and to cover myself in the rest of God's armor.
Tired.  Imperfect.  Unworthy.
Yet blessed by the grace of a God whose clearly speaking.

To run with endurance the race that's been set before me.  Eyes only on JESUS, the author and finisher of my faith.
(Hebrews 12:1-2)
Knowing with every piece of my heart that HE is faithful.  That He who began a good work in me, in us, will be faithful to complete it.
(Philippians 1:6)
PRAISE.  WORSHIP.  THANKS.

And above all...
PRAY WITHOUT CEASING
PRAY WITHOUT CEASING
